Computer Graphics International (CGI), the official conference of the Computer Graphics Society (CGS), is a truly international gathering of academics, students, and industry professionals. Each year, over a hundred delegates from around the world meet to share research ideas in the field of computer graphics. Past conferences have been held in Geneva, Switzerland, Tokyo, Japan, New York, USA, and Istanbul, Turkey. CGI is one of computer graphic’s longest running annual conference series; its inaugural meeting was held in Tokyo, Japan in 1982. CGI accepts original research papers from a variety of Computer Graphic areas that are published as journal papers in the highly recognized Springer journal “The Visual Computer.”
