Conference Registration

Computer Graphics International (CGI) is co-located with Computational Aesthetics (CAe). This has reduced the cost of both conferences. A heavily discounted joint registration is available for attendance at both conferences; we hope as many people as possible will take advantage of this.

Overview of the registration options

program

Student volunteers get the benefits of joint student registrations.

CGI technical registration:

This gives access to all keynote sessions on Weds, Thu, Fri; access to all CGI technical sessions; access to all art events; tickets to CGI reception (Tue), main reception (Wed), banquet (Thu); coffee breaks and lunch on Weds, Thu, Fri. There is a student discount available.

CAe technical registration:

Joint technical registration:

This gives a substantial discount on registering for the two conferences separately. It offers access to all keynote sessions on Weds, Thu, Fri, Sat; access to all CGI technical sessions; access to all CAe technical sessions; access to all art events; tickets to CGI reception (Tue), main reception (Wed), banquet (Thu); coffee breaks and lunch on Weds, Thu, Fri, Sat. This registration does not include the banquet (Thu) which can be purchased separately. It does not include proceedings. There is no student discount.

Saturday registration:

The keynote on Saturday (Jeffrey Shaw) and the CAe technical papers on Saturday are of particular interest to the art community. We offer a special ticket for one day only. This provides access to all technical and keynote sessions on Sat; access to art event on Fri; coffee break and lunch on Sat. This registration does not include the banquet (Thu) which can be purchased separately. It does not include proceedings. There is no student discount.

Full technical registration:

included printed proceedings of the conference(s) for which you register.

Student technical registration:

does not include printed proceedings but we aim to provide proceedings on USB; students must provide proof of their status

EG/ACM membership for CAe:

CAe is a Eurographics workshop. Eurographics requires that registrants are members of either Eurographics or ACM or that registrants pay a premium. The premium (€45 for students, €90 for others) will be added to the registration fee for people who are not members of Eurographics or ACM. Your membership number must be provided at registration. Joining Eurographics for one year is cheaper than the premium and we recommend that non-members join (http://www.eg.org/join). CGI is organized by the Computer Graphics Society, which does not require membership, so registrants for CGI only do not need to provide a membership number.

Banquet tickets:

the banquet (Thu) is included in all technical registrations, both full and student. It is not included in the artist ticket or Saturday ticket. Extra tickets may be purchased.

Main reception tickets:

The main reception (Wed) includes the opening of the art show. It is included in all technical registrations, both full and student, and in the artist ticket. It is not included in the Saturday ticket. Extra tickets may be purchased.

Tutorial registration:

This is on Tuesday. Registration may be purchased as an addition to any of the other registration categories. The tutorial may be purchased as a stand-alone item, with no other registration, at a premium that covers our administrative costs.
